Holographic Fantasy

Here's another handmade jewellery set to add to my collection. I'm loving these wonderful holographic beads - they catch the light beautifully.

Feeling Blue?

With a number of Winter sales planned, it was time to start designing and creating a number of new jewellery pieces to add to my collections.

I often get asked for blue pieces, so with this in mind and some rather cool wintery days ahead, here is my latest 'inner-glow' creation - an earring and necklace set.

Lollipops, Ice Cream and Cupcakes

Here are more cute cards from the Basic Grey birthday card kit.
I'm loving the 'sweet treats' theme!

Just to say "Hi"

I'm still addicted to these fantastic BasicGrey card kits - here's more from the birthday kit. These would be an ideal present for someone who has never crafted before, as everything is die-cut and clearly explained in the kit.

I've found them perfect for those 'last minute makes!'

Too Hot To Handle

I've been such a busy little crafter this week...as well as getting to grips with my shiny new laptop. (How I love new gadgets! I'm a technology freak at heart - really!)

I attended a fabulous sale today and set up stall with my jewellery. I had a great day and actually sold this pretty necklace, earring and bracelet set rather swiftly (I hadn't been there five minutes and two ladies went to grab this set). I think they liked the way my jewellery pieces sparkled and caught the light.

In fact, it wasn't the only pieces they wanted. Both ladies also 'made eyes' at another monochromatic set that I had made and after a little arguement, they came to an amicable agreement. I will have to make more of both sets!

Anyway, I got some wonderful feedback on my designs and quite a few sales.
Wa hooo! Here's to many more days like today!

Let It Snow!

With just over 6 weeks until Christmas it's time to start thinking about making festive cards - if you haven't started already! Can you believe it? Just 43 days to go! (note to self: I must start some Christmas shopping soon!)

Having made many throughout the year for clients, this is my first personal festive card this year. I've designed the card using the beautiful We R Memory Keepers White Out collection of flocked papers, chipboard embellishments and velvety lace trim. I think this background paper is so gorgeous - I love the texture!

Punched snowflakes and sparkling gem stones complete the look for this icy creation. It's quite an elegant and luxurious looking card. I think I'll be making more of these this year!

Enjoy!

Clowning Around!

These BasicGrey card kits are so addictive. Here are some more that I have created using the kit. I love the patterned papers and textured cards in the kit. The chipboard clown makes me smile!

Check them out from stockists of BasicGrey products.

They're a Piece of Cake!

I'm loving these easy BasicGrey Birthday Cards. They come in a packed kit with everything pre-punched and ready for you to assemble, in a number of useful themes. This is the birthday kit with enough product to make eight cards. I'm liking these two birthday cake designs, which I have made today. They're ideal for those last minute cards needed in a flash. Dimension comes from the chipboard shapes, distressed effects from optional inking techniques and application of rub-ons provide a professional finish.

I think I will be making more of these!

Guy Fawkes Night

Hope you all had a great November the 5th. I went to a local Firework show taking place over the harbour which was very well done. I took the opportunity to get some great Fireworks photos (they'll be useful for scrapbooking at some point!) Here's one from last night!

Ummmm......Cupcakes!

What a spooky Halloween. The fancy dress went down well and many friends didn't recognise me! Mission accomplished! Everyone made a tremendous effort and there were a few people at the party whom I knew, but also did not recognise. I like it when the costumes are that good!

Busy weekend again, some crafting which I cannot show here as it was for a client, but also some baking. Now I'm not the world's best cook - usually toast and pasta are my limits (Although not together I might add!) But it was a friends birthday and I thought I would make the cupcakes for her party. So five batches later and here are some of my results! Ok, so they could have looked better - but they tasted light and fluffy and proved popular.
