American Eagle Paper Sculpture

With recent 'Presidential' events Stateside, I thought you might be interested to see a paper sculpture I created with an American theme. My Eagle has been lovingly hand-created with individual feathers created from paper.

This was one of my early paper sculptures and something that was particularly difficult to photograph since it is framed and behind glass - I hope there's not too much reflection here in my photo.

The actual piece measures 24" x 22".

Back to Blogging

Just returned from a very interesting and enlightening trade show. The Creative Stitches show at the NEC Birmingham is for the trade only, but is ideal for meeting contacts, viewing the latest products for the year ahead and generally keeping 'on top' of all the new crafty products, gizmos and tools. I even saw crafting King, Tim Holtz whilst I was there!

I'm very inspired by all that I saw and I look forward to the weeks ahead. I almost ran out of business cards -I spoke to so many people!

Welcome to all my new followers/ subscribers/ contacts and fellow bloggers!

Free Valentines Bottle Cap Printables

On the Valentines theme, I have also created some bottle caps printables which are available for free download. Here are a couple of cards that have been made using them to get your inspiration flowing.

They have been designed to either fit inside a bottle cap as seen on the 'Love You' card or can be used by punching them out as stickers (if printed on self adhesive paper) or perhaps as a background design. Embellish your cards, scrapbook pages or other altered art projects using my designs.

Simply follow the link here and download the designs.
Print as many times as you want for your own personal use and crafts projects. Please note: the copyright of the designs remains with me, the designer, but you can use these within projects that you sell. Please credit my website if you do. They cannot be used in commercial work or submitted to magazines for competitions or otherwise. Thank you for respecting the copyright laws.
