Scalloped Mother's Day Card

It's been another hectic week...working on illustrations for a client this week and completing crafting projects with articles.

I recently got the new Fiskars Scalloped Border punch and have been using it on many of my creations...I'm addicted to scallops! Here's one of my latest for my Mum for Mother's Day (Mothering Sunday on 22nd March 2009 - for all those in the UK...when is it for other countries?)She loves pink and glitter, so by combining this design with Doodlebug adhesive sugar coated lettering - I'm hoping I'm onto a winner!

Are you addicted to any particular products that incorporate scallops? If so, please share by leaving a comment.

Don't forget Mother's Day this coming Sunday (UK). I'll have my card posted in a few days for some inspiration. Keep checking back.

Anyone got ideas for unusual Mother's Day presents? She's just about had most handmade items, the usual flowers, perfume, spa day, clothes etc...any other ideas?

Forever Friends Wedding Anniversary Card

Here's a sneak peek at my Forever Friends Wedding Anniversary card designed for my parents. Their anniversary is swiftly approaching and I needed a quick card for their special day.

I used a Forever Friends rubber stamp with textured cardstock, inks and peel-offs (Mum loves her metallic peel-offs!) On their wedding day (40-odd years ago) their bridesmaids wore blue, so this card ties in with their theme, whilst incorporating the cute little bears that have become so dear to our hearts!

Easter Egg-stravaganza Cards

It's the 1st of March and Spring has sprung, so Easter is on it's way. Fluffy chicks, cute rabbits and my most favourite of all...scrummy chocolate Easter Eggs! Ummmm ummm!

Have you started making your Easter cards yet? Pictured are some of the designs I've been working on. Over the coming weeks I'll publish step by steps of how to make these projects.

In the meantime, the six page printables used to create them can be seen in my shops here for those in the UK and here for everyone worldwide. Hope you like them. I spent hours designing the papers!
