Retro Easter Handmade Cards

This Easter I have created some quick, fun retro-style chick cards for friends and family. The holographic, puffy and coloured stickers have a look about them that reminds me of many of the characters I saw in my children's story books growing-up.

I combined them with Doodlebug cardstock sticker lettering, paper frills and felt and silk flowers.

They were fun to make a slightly different from my own usual style of work. Hope they inspire!

*Please note, as always, these craft projects are designed by myself. They should not be copied, similar submitted to magazines or entered into competitions. The photos are also copyright to me and should not be taken from my blog without permission. Thanks for your understanding and abiding by the copyright laws.

Mothers Day Card

Forever Friends bears (by Hallmark) are so sweet and loved by so many, who could go wrong with a Mother's Day card designed using their wonderful craft papers?

I designed this simple, clean mother's day card using sheets of Forever Friends Pink Parfait papers, layered into my own decoupage with the hat in the foreground. Extra embellishments and cardstock sticker text complete the look of the layered image.

I think Mum will like this (hopefully!) she loves the little furry characters and clean, graphical style cards. Designs without too much fuss and over embellishment.

Forever Friends Floral Anniversary Card

I created this wedding anniversary card for my two best friends. I used Forever Friends stickers and papers and combined them with peel offs, glittery stickers and paper flowers. I love these pearl heart embellishments at the centres of the flowers!

The characters are just adorable!

In An Ideal World

Did you see my work featured on Ideal World today? It's always great to see all the hard work come together, showcasing a product or kit within my papercrafting projects to help sell it through. It seems like it worked again!

It also gives you the chance to stand back and review your own work.
I was pleased with how the projects looked on screen!

Bear-ly 30 this birthday!

You may remember not so long ago, I created a card using my teddy bears rubber stamp. I was so pleased with the results, I created another for my friend's 30th birthday. I also made her a pearl and Swarovski crystal necklace, which I hope she likes along with her other gifts.

Have a wonderful day Kelly!
